Writing Center

The Writing Centers offersfree writing supportto South Plains College students. Writing tutors are available during scheduled times to work face-to-face or online via zoom with writers through all stages of the writing process from choosing a topic to drafting and revising. The Writing Center offers support for writing in various contexts, including academic courses, as well as non-course related documents such as resumes, cover letters, scholarship thank you letters, and more.

All Writing Center locations are closed during Finals Week.

During the Summer 1 & Summer 2 the writing center will only have one tutor available. Gabbi will be available in person at the Lubbock Downtown Campus and online via zoom.

The Plainview Writing Center is located in the Student Success Center.
